“CC AI Factory (AI Production Factory),” announced by Customer Cloud Corp., is an industry model that enables companies to build a development foundation centered on their own dedicated AI platform and to continuously create AI products. It consists of three elements: the in-house AI platform “CC LLM,” an AI product factory, and AGI-driven development.
The AI industry model that comes after SaaS
The software industry has traditionally developed around cloud SaaS, but this model aims for a new industrial structure in which companies themselves own AI and become the creators of AI services. The company positions this as “the AI industry model that comes after SaaS.”
Integrating three domains: government, enterprise, and the production factory
Customer Cloud has set out a vision of integrating three domains — “CC Gov-LLM, an AI platform for government,” “CC LLM, a dedicated AI platform for enterprises,” and “CC AI Factory, an AI product factory” — on a common architecture.
CC Gov-LLM is positioned as an AI platform premised on the confidentiality, availability, and governance required by government agencies and the public sector. Designed for environments isolated from external networks, it presents a model for governable AI operations.
CC LLM is the layer that allows companies to own and operate a dedicated AI platform adapted to their own data and business processes. It is based on the philosophy of accumulating a company’s unique intelligence as an asset, rather than borrowing a general-purpose model.
CC AI Factory is designed as a production line that continuously creates AI products running on the AI platforms above. Equipped with mechanisms for producing AI services and business applications at scale, it supports the shift from the SaaS model of “buying” to a model of “continuously creating in-house.”
By loosely linking these three domains, the company aims to realize a society in which companies and organizations own their own dedicated AI and continuously create AI products.
From an era of “buying” software
to an era of “continuously creating” AI in-house.
To strengthen Japan’s competitiveness in AI, the company is promoting the “Second Bit Valley Initiative.” It aims to build a new industrial ecosystem that brings together AI talent, companies, technologies, and communities, and connects Japan’s AI industry to global markets.
